A PWS Affiliate Group gives parents an opportunity to gain new perspectives on family issues. It is a time to focus on finding inner guidance with the support of others who are like-minded. Such a group offers parents a set time every week to slow down, release the tensions of daily life and see their children in the light of Spirit. When several people get together to learn and meditate they will begin to care for each other and create the kind of energy that is transformational. |

These are some initial steps to take when starting a PWS Affiliate Group: Put up posters at the local health food store or metaphysical shop announcing plans to form such a group. Put a free announcement in the newspaper under the “What’s Happening Around Town” or “The Calendar for the Week” section. Mail letters to potential group members. Include the group’s goals, meeting times and cost to join. Ask around to find a responsible, caring adult who can do childcare. |

The kit includes the flyer and ad copy to inform parents that a group is being formed, a letter introducing the group concept, a sixty-minute tape about “Finding Inner Guidance on the Parenting Path,” a manual on the group process along with articles and discussion questions. For eight months the editors of Parenting with Spirit will send a follow-up newsletter with additional ideas and information. All of this is available for an initial cost of $58.65.
